Carver 404 bow tunnel thruster

Postby PJHoffnet » December 19th, 2016, 10:07 am

Has anyone installed one? Have one to help describe the placement of components?

While I don't have a 404 owner's manual, looking at a 406's manual, it looks like the forward AC unit is right below the rack in the V berth - right where I'd assume you'd place the thruster's motor/battery and go 'down' to tunnel.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

The 404's 'forward' ac unit is under the dinette in the salon. There is a duct that supplies the forward birth and head.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Aaron, that eases my mind a bit. Fingers crossed our walk through on a 404 goes well next week. Might be bad news for you though because I'll probably end up picking your brain a lot. :)
