Installing a bow thruster in a 396/444

We are thinking about adding a bow thruster. If there is anyone reading this forum that has a 396 or a 444 with a bow thruster
and would share any information and possibly some pictures of it's location and any other technical data I would sure appreciate
it. Carver gave the boat yard I deal with some information but the yard told me they need to see a installed one so they know exactly
what they are dealing with. Like location of stringers compared to the thruster motor.

I would direct any questions to Danny at dockingbycontrol.com

He does nothing but thrusters (including my stern thruster) and is the go to guy.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully Danny can help me in Michigan.

We bought a 2003 Carver 396 MY last year. It has a bow thruster and we are wanting to install a stern thruster. We were wondering if you (Time For US II) went with Docking by Control and which thruster you chose. Were you satisfied with their work. Also interested in hearing from anyone else on what stern thruster they recommend or if they have any advice on ones not to buy.

Do you have gas or diesel power? None of my business - but I can't see the need for a stern thruster in a diesel powered boat with a bow thruster. I can make my 506 walk sideways with opposite gears and a touch of bow thruster to counter act the bow movement.

Ours is gas.
