Yes. If you notice the square cut out in the floor that Leeds to the engine compartment. This is a sealed compartment in which has a negative pressure while underway. (Positive pressure with the blower motor on) This is achieved through the venturi effect created by the louvers. Because of this, this area will need to be sealed. The toe kick and bump out is to maintain this passage for the air to be pulled out of the engine compartment. Also the cabinet will only occupy a portion of the space.

Good call this could have been easily over looked

Hey Matt, Yes the suits and a mask are a must have, Not having a out shop like yours I'll stick to the shop the marina is letting me use while my boat is on hard. My platform is almost ready for fairing and gel-coat. Blister repairs are also underway, She had a few I'll keep y'all posted.
What did you restore the name plates with ?

I had the plates power coated. I did however redo the gold lettering with a spray paint. There was not any available in power coat that has a gold shin to it.

You will have to start a post on your project!

This weekend accomplishments

Installed the last gauge and did a lot of wiring. Still a lot more to do

Installed the door and freed up the 110 volt wiring so that the new panel location would work

Put a coat of sanding sealer on the stairs

Cut the wood last night and assembled today in the boat. Still need to trim it out.

Did you build those shelves in place or are they modular? Can you take them out if access behind is needed?
They look great.

Yes they are two units that can be pull out for acess. I have not attached them yet. The bottom kick plate will screw into the base and attach to a nailer on the floor. The top piece will have screws that attach the top. By utilizing these areas the screw will not be that visible. It's kind of hard to explain but I will post some pic's when I get to that step.
