Hello,
We were lucky enough to break the middle port side salon window on our 2001 Carver 396 Motor Yacht this weekend, the top hinge did not pivot and the glass shattered :censored:; the Carver part number per the manual is 7059196, does anyone know if this part, as well as the top hinges, are still available through Carver or has anyone else had to replace windows for this model and if so where did you find them.

Thanks in advance
High5u

Give Carver Parts a call with your Hull number. Chances are they won't have it but can provide you with the manufacturer info and their part number. Might be a Taylor Made product. Look at the corners of the existing panels and see if there is any information etched in the glass.

I think Trend Marine in the UK made the windows...

Trend Marine is the maker of the window and they also made all the windows for the 2001 Carver 396, they have all the patterns if anyone ever breaks a window

I just replaced mine on my '03. $400 plus shipping from Carver. They have them in stock and it took three days for delivery. Easy to install, don't be shy on the bonding glue when you put the old track on the new window. Need extra hands to fix it to the boat.

expensive but fun project!
