As a fluke, I was installing my new Raymarine EV200 Autopilot. (Gratis of Ray!) and when I was running t he new rudder sensor, I had to open up the bed in the aft cabin. Horror when I saw that it looked like a salt mine from leaky raw water! The unit was a disaster as was the space. I was going to troubleshoot and repair, wound up being a hose leaking, but it was not worth the labor for a 25 year old unit. SO I bought a direct replacement, installed, had to muck around as I got a bad cable, and then finished it up. Lot of labor, but it is done and won’t need

Seeing those pics makes me even more glad to live in a freshwater environment. Salt water is hard on stuff.

I like that aluminum bracket you made, but can't figure out what it is for. Is that on the new one, or did you do something with the old one?
