We need some clarification. Are you talking about 1 or 2 pumps? I get the fresh water pump per the title but given you've mentioned the size of the waste tank too, are you also talking about a waste pump/overboard discharge pump/macerator?jrides55 wrote:Source of the post Hey, I just got the boat in the title and the PO messed up the waste water and fresh water plumbing, and the pump is bad. For the size of the vessel, I would think a 2.9 or 3 GPM pump would do for the fresh water system. You don't want to get anything with a much higher current draw than what you already have as the wiring/circuit may not be capable of handling the extra load, so that's something you have to consider. Checking the rating on the pump breaker at the panel or fuse will help.

Back to your holding tank...you say all waste goes into it. Does that include sink water in addition to head waste?
