Hello friends,

This is my first boat ever. Does anyone know of this is a “support” pole as I’d like to take it out….

Not sure about that…

I’ve seen newer boats, but same model without that pole…..

It was an additional support feature to the floor of the bridge. Provided extra strength to support cabinets hanging in galley, as well as where passengers would walk and sit on the bridge. Not 100% necessary, but I wouldn't pull it out, considering the age of the vessel. It's not getting any younger, and you may regret the potential sagging effect. Good luck. 8-) er

It is a support pole.
There are no wires in it.
I had to shorten mine when I installed the granite counter tops.

I would definitely not pull it out. I had three like that in my 3607. I think you'd get a lot of "flex' in the sole of the bridge.
