2007 Voyager 52
I'm used to Cummins 6CTA8.3 and some what suspicious of Volvo. I m in Seattle so is boat.
Any comments on reliability of D-9s , maintenance and repair issues, ?
Recommendations for a really good Volvo Mechanic/engineer in this area?

If the vessel has QL thrusters (Volvo), they were discontinued years ago and parts are no longer available from Volvo. A major component failure will be costly if you can even find a replacement part somewhere, otherwise you'll be retrofitting the whole system to a different brand ($$$), so that's something to consider budgeting for.
