new to the carver rivera single engine

Vessel Info: Just bought a Carver Rivera 1985, with a single crusader 454 (350 hp) she was used very lightly and it looked real good, but it sat for a few years. picture is of her new home port Apollo Beach Florida

I had the carb rebuilt because the boat had sat so long the new carb will open up to full up
but it still would not rpm pass 3000 with old carb and old carb was leaking fuel
