Hello, My name is Ron and my wife and I just purchased a 32' 87 Carver Mariner, we have it on the Cayuga lake in the finger lakes of NY. We love it and will be spending our summers on it. I am looking to see if anyone has or can lead me in the direction for a winter cover for this boat. Thanks

Hello Everyone!
My name is Sandy Barnes. I recently purchased a 1990 2757 Mid Cabin, with twin 4.3's.
I need to find some canvas cover to protect the cockpit when not in use.
I have a radar arch, and there already exists cover connectors, twist type.

Does anyone have any idea where i might find this cover?

Any thoughts about fuel eccomony? When I lake tested this boat, I was doing about 35 MPH @ 3600 RPM.

I'll be looking for replies.

Sandy Barnes

The best bet for canvas/Sunbrella would be a local canvas shop

Fuel economy? Use an American Express card and just pay every month. Whatever it is for your boat, you are not going to like it!

And Welcome! Post a pic of your boat when you have a moment.

We currently own a 1983 3207 Aft cabin cruiser. We absolutely love this boat and have had this one for 5 years now. We plan to keep it for a very long time. As of the purchase, the owner said they just replaced all hoses, manifolds, risers, 1 shaft, cutlass bushings etc...
I have done nothing to this boat except rebuild the raw water pumps every 2 years and repacked the stuffing boxes 5 years ago. I did replaced both saltwater toilets (due to foul smelling bay water). Both engines are original with 850 hours on them. They run perfectly.

My question is on the risers, although they are now (at least) 5 years old, I am told to replace them. Has anyone tried Brass or S/S riser replacements?

Okay. I am not. Web genius, but I cannot figure out how to start a thread.

I am looking for some information on what others have done to install davits to carry a RIB dinghy on a Carver 450 voyager. Would also appreciate any help showing me how to start a new topic,

I think most of those were flat glass, not curved, If so, any glass shop should be able to help you out.

Just curious if you found a replacement window. I have the same boat (1999 Santego 380) and have a broken port window. Checked with Carver and they no longer carry it - they gave me the manufacturer's name and they no longer make it.
