Good morning my name is Dave,
I recently became the third owner of a 1989 Carver 3807. Over the past 9 months I’ve been researching and learning as much as I can about the systems on board, very interesting. Thank you to everyone who post the treasure trove of information on this board. As I “get into the weeds” of this boat with projects I’ll be sure to participate.
Thanks again for sharing.
Dave

Good luck with your Carver. Hope your ownership experience is a good one.

Thank you Rick,Viper.
Apologize for taking so long to respond, having a little trouble navigating the site. I have posted in the general repairs but not sure where that post went. My question was how to remove the straight section of windshield portside bridge (cracked). Looks like I have to remove the one piece top frame around the corner piece to access. Not sure how the frame connects on the butt end to the large vertical support. Any insight would appreciate.
Thanks, Dave

You might get a better response if you post this as a new topic in the "General Repairs & Maintenance" section.

I don't recall how the assembly is put together as I've never had to work on it but if no 3807 owners chime in, I'll take a look at mine and try to figure it out. Usually it's as you said, the top piece is removed first and sometimes that's all it takes to allow for sliding the panel out. I'll probably be at the boat this Friday.

Hi everyone! Just bought a 2001 Carver Four Sixty Six in Kent Narrows, Maryland, and have several weeks of work being done by a local boatyard there before getting her back in the water and cruising the lower portion of the Chesapeake as we head back to our home port in NC. Looking forward to reading this forum and contributing when I can.
