Been a boat owner for many years. Started as sail, power for the past 15 years. Present boat is a 1984 Bayliner Contessa. In process of buying a 1996 Carver 355. Here to see what Carver's are all about. The Admiral already fell in live with this boat, so we are moving forward!

Welcome Aboard. I made the move from a 1999 3055 to a 1981 Carver 3007 Aft Cabin. It is a roomy 30 footer as was the 3055 but there is a lot more room in the Carver.
Hope you enjoy your Carver too.

Make sure you get a good survey!
You never know what is hidden or worse yet, being hidden.
I'm on my 3rd Carver - can not beat them for roominess.

Thanks for the great welcome! A survey is planned for this week. the owners are in their late 80's. They mainly used the boat for Friday evening cocktails. They have owned this vessel since 2000. It did not go in the water last year. The mind blowing part is it only has 216 hours on the clock, with less than 50 on the generator! Spotless engines and a like new bilge. We will see how the survey goes later in the week.

Good luck on the survey. I recently bought a 98 370 Voyager which is built on the same hull. Low hours are not always a good thing as engines are made to be used. Mine had 650 hrs when I bought it and the owner had to put $7K into the engines and generator to pass the survey and complete the deal. You will love the room and setup for cruising!http://www.carveryachtowners.com/posting.php?mode=reply&f=2&t=1370#
