Hi Everyone!
I'm not new to boating...I grew up on boats.
Not new to boat ownership...I've owned 6 powerboats and 2 sailboats.
Not new to Carver, although this is my first Carver, I have owned her for 3 years now.
I lived on her for 2 1/2 yrs, in Huntington Beach and San Diego and now live with my wonderful new wife who loves "our" boat. We moved her to Stockton and now call the California Delta our boating home.

I love the 3007 for all the room in a 30 foot package...she a good looking very comfortable little Delta Cruiser. I have already learned a few things by reading some of the posts
Here and look forward to learning more. I hope to meet other 3007 or 3207 owners, or members in or near the Delta!

Welcome Aboard. I have the same boat only its 1 year older a 1980 model. You are correct in your assessment that this is a big 30 footer. There is lots of room and a decent amount of storage. Its the first 30' boat I have ever seen with a separate stand up or sit down shower. I love that feature. I bought mine last August so I have not had much time to spend on her. That shall hopefully change this season. Unfortunately I am no where near you as I am in Michigan and boat on the Great Lakes.

Hope you continue to have good times aboard your 3007.

I'm curious what engines you have. I have the Ford Pleasurecraft, or the 351C small blocks. These are my first Fords in a boat...I have had Chrysler and Chevys...I love these Fords! This is the same engines they put in the old Ski Natiques...great low end torque.

Don't know what I was thinking about in an earlier post here mine is an 81 too. Same year as yours. Carver only made this particular model for 2 years, 81 and 82. Duh, not sure why I said mine was an 80. Must be getting forgetful in my old age. :-D
