Hello, New to Carver boats. Just got this one needs some work that we are doing our self, not to much work needs to be done, we are going to try and keep it pretty much like it came when it was new. I can't find much info on the boat we have and while searching for info it lead me to here. I would like to see some of the same boats inside the cabin to see how people remodeled their boats inside or if everyone just kept them factory. We hope to have it in the water in a few weeks I hope. It is a older boat and a small one to but we are going to try it out and see how it does. Hopefully it is good on gas.

Welcome aboard.

We redid an on-the-hard-for 10-years resto of our 3697.

We updated a bunch - granite counter tops, all new sinks, faucets, wife made all new sunbrella, all new curtains, we put in a white carpet, replaced the mirror and other back splashes with brushed stainless, re-wallpapered the head, rebuilt the head, installed new webasto AC/heat, new cockpit and bridge carpets, reupholstered all the outside seating, new stereo, with a seperate one for the bridge, a FloScan, Chartplotter/finder, radar, vhf, hailer, etc, and on and on.

The best part - the boat has only 260 hours on her, and it's 29 years old!

Pics in my photobucket albums under 87 Mariner.

May give you some ideas.
