Welcome aboard my friend. I assume your question is if you can take out the inboard engine set up and put in inboard outboard engine arrangement. It's possible, but why would you want to?

Is it possible? Yes. You would need to put an outboard engine bracket on the transom and then mount the outboard engines on the bracket. I've seen this done on some Aquasport 290 fishing boats and on a Bertram 31, but never on a Carver cruiser. Here are pictures of what it looks like:

Hello, bacause it is too hard to find any spare parts for Mercruiser 5.7 and there are no many people who can repair it, but outboart engines are popular for the sea water here.

I understand that putting an outboard engine bracket on the transom and then mount the outboard engines on the bracket is not hard work, but I have saome qustions about:
1. can I ask someone (or any company) to desing how to put it on boat?
2. how about balace (navigability )of the boat. is it good on not?

You could contact Armstrong - the maker of these brackets - what they would recommend. You can e-mail them through their website: http://www.armstrongnautical.com Their advice would be very helpful if you wanted to put outboards on your Carver.

It would move a lot of weight toward the back of the boat. Generally weight toward the stern (or even further back) is not good for a well-balanced boat. The 3227 Convertible already has a bit of rear weight bias with the engines further back and v-drives compared to the 3207 or others with the engines toward the center of the boat. A bracket on the stern could be offset a bit by moving all the batteries as far forward as possible. One advantage of this - the inboard engines with gear weigh about 1,000 lbs each - that's 2,000 lbs total (1,000 KG). A 200HP outboard (2 stroke) weighs about 500 lbs. or 1,000 lbs (500 KG) for a pair of outboards. So even if you move the weight back, you are removing about 1,000 lbs. from the aft area of the boat. Also, some brackets are designed to add flotation to the boat to offset the rear weight bias - this can also help. Again, you may want to communicate with Armstrong and get their input - they have a lot of experience in this area.
