Hello from New Zealand

Postby hargsnz » August 5th, 2016, 4:03 pm

Just purchased a 2003 366 with twin 280HP Cummins. One owner boat with only 108 hours. In the process of shipping the boat to my home town of Auckland New Zealand.
Why a 366?
My wife & I have owned motor yachts for around 30 years but we needed a yacht now without ladders, lots of space & a bathroom each! Plus we have a 40ft marina & it will fit on this nicely after we hang a dingy off the back.
Some work to do due to the Cummins engines being under used and just sitting - but the boat itself is immaculate.
Looking forward to getting it home in early November & getting into intercooler servicing & water pump upgrades.

Welcome to the forum. I have to ask, shipped from where? A friend sold his 51' Navigator to a gentleman from New Zealand. The boat was shipped from Portland, Oregon at a cost of ~ $70,000. :-O

It's coming from the South of France. Not sure how & why it got there, but it's a real "orphan" with the 366 configuration in the Mediterranean, they much prefer open cockpit styles. it will get shipped on the 7 star yacht transporter which is a cargo vessel that's configured only for yacht transport. Cost Genoa - Auckland is USA$ 36,500.
