Hello gang,

A couple of weeks ago I closed the deal on a 1983 Riviera that is in wonderful shape. She is a solid and dry boat. Last weekend we made the 4 hour trip home through the Thousand Islands with her. This week we have been outfitting her with the appropriate safety gear, comforts, and doing minor maintenance and cleaning. One engine was running rich, so I just rebuilt the carb and will be reinstalling it Saturday. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and tossing the odd question out when I'm stumped or need some sage advice.

Welcome, our first boat was a1988 riviera. That was a wonderful boat, full of memories. Our son grew up with that boat up, and he cried when we got our 4207 and the boat went away.

Sold it to a young lady in Minnesota.

The pic is The Landing in Ivy Lea, Thousand Islands, we are in the marina in Prescott with the boat now. Today was the big scrub. She's looking better.

We are in the final stages of buying one, an 1986. Been in dry dock since 13. Going to be really picking some brains here. HOPING FOR LOTSA HELP.
I have rebuilt Rinkers before and have a runabout we're keeping (24' sport cuddy) but want a weekender and overnighter boat for the Lake Erie Islands.
