We're in the final stages of purchasing a 2807. 1986 that needs PLENTY of TLC.
Going to be a long winter restoring something that has been dry docked for 3 years.
We are going to be asking a whole lot of questions.

My wife made me buy our first boat - a new 2807 in 88.

Make your life easy - if you have any engine room work to do, do a year's worth at once. Unbolt the seating, the platform the passenger seat is on, and the engine covers.
Takes a while, but makes working down there much easier.

When I was looking for a boat last year my Wife saw the Carver we currently own on the wall at the brokers office. She said lets go look at that one. After about 30 seconds aboard she said to me "buy it" so I did.

When we started looking at boats, we were looking at trailer boats.
We visited oselka and walked up to a new 2807. Wife says let's get this.
I was saying we will never ever have a boat that big.

Boy was I wrong. Not only did we buy that boat, I now have my own navy.
