Hello. Did you purchace the 444? My wife and I also bought a 2001 444 in January.

Doing some work on it over winter. Some maintenance issues and some updates.

Hope yours works out. We are on Lake Michigan so some time before we can enjoy.

Hey Foster15 I called on your boat but they told me it was under contract..:) I now have a contract on a 2001 444 in Benton Harbor. Waiting for sea trial. I am a little concerned after reading that some of these cant cruise at 25mph. How did you sea trial go? I probably won't take the boat if doesn't get up and go.

The 444 at Pier 1000?
If you need a local hand since you are out of town, contact me.
FWIW, I've know Bob at Pier 1000 since 1988, when he was a tech at Oselka's in New Buffalo.
He's a good guy.

If you need a good surveyor, I used Jim and he spent about 6 hours on my boat going over everything and the report came back in less than 7 days.

Thanks Waybomb! Yes that is the boat. I will keep Jim in Mind. I really only need the hull surveyed. Bob does seem to be a very nice guy. I look forward to meeting him. I hope to get to the sea trial very soon.

I only had a hull survey done as well.
He spent that much time checking everything except drive line.
I was there with him so probably slowed the normal process down.
I'm across the river from Pier1000, the first residence north of Brian's Marina.
If you need anything just let me know.
