Just wanted to say hello after my first summer with my new to me 450 Voyager. I picked the boat up in Massachusetts in May after a year and a half search. We live in NJ and drove as far as Jacksonville FL and Midland Canada looking for the right 450. Finally made a deal in February, next thing you know COVID shuts everything down and I have a stroke 3 days before my scheduled sea trial. It all worked out in the end. I owned a 1989 3888 Bayliner that I loved but my wife wanted something bigger. I know, crazy right. I enjoyed working on the Bayliner and I have plans to improve/update the Voyager as well. Looking forward to learning about the boat on this forum and sharing any information I can.
Regards
Pete

Welcome aboard Pete. Hope you've completely recovered.
I've enjoyed working on a few 3888s. Easy engine bay to get to and work in. Nice boat and layout, I like its lines. Did yours have Hinos or gassers?
We'd like to see pics of your 450

What are you thinking of updating?

Congrats and welcome aboard!
FWIW, I had a stroke on 14OCT. I knew what was happening and had somebody call the medics now. I was on an iv in 6 minutes, and at the hospital in 10. I was lucky, very lucky. All I have is a little numbness in my thumb and pointer finger.
Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome and well wishes. To answer a few questions the Bayliner had 210 Hinos and I do miss the fuel economy. As far as the Voyager right now I’m just fixing things like the blinds and curtains on the doors and windows, updating and adding electronics new canvas and replaced all the ceiling lights with LED fixtures. This winters big project will be new floors, I think we have decided on Nautikflor. There are a lot of little things that need to be done from door catches to broken door lock sets. I’m pretty sure the PO lost interest in the boat a few years ago. I hope the link below works, it’s pictures from the listing

Very nice, looks like you brought it down from Onset Bay Marina/Safe Harbor.
