what are your thoughts of crackling noises while walking the AFT Deck Over The Master stateroom on 1988 Carver 4207 motor yacht?

Welcome aboard.

Hard to say without actually being there but if I had to guess, I'd say it's a compromised core. If this vessel has been docked uncovered most of its life, chances are water has migrated through the stanchions and hardtop supports (if applicable) into the core. Moisture readings and soundings of the area will give you a better picture whether that's actually the case and if so, how widespread it is.

Agree with viper. A lot can happen to a boat in 33 years.
Is this a new issue? New to you boat? If just bought, did you surveyor not notice this?

Cracking noises walking above the rear aft deck on this 1988 Carver 4207. I only have the deposit down on the boat but having a tough time finding a surveyor on short notice. Boat gets hauled out and shrink-wrapped Factory hardtop and rear isinglass all enclosed with no water leaks as of today? Just buying another floating apartment for the misses as we live with in 1 Mile of the Boatyard.

The area in question doesn't have to be directly exposed to be affected. Water can get in through exterior points exposed to the elements such as stanchions/supports as I mentioned above, then the moisture will migrate through the core. Whether you actually see any leaks below in the aft cabin depends on the severity of the intrusion and how saturated the core is. The sound could also be delamination which is why you should consider having someone assess it. A surveyor would give you a pretty good idea of what's going on and whether you need to worry about it right now and what to do to prevent it from getting worse.

I would be sure you get the survey before buying. If the deck core is compromised, repairing the decks can easily eclipse the purchase price of the boat.
