I grew up boating i.in the 70's when men were men and swimming next to a boat in the morning risked a swim through charmin .
Grew up on the following boats
25 pacemaker, 32 pacemaker, 1982 36 foot marine trader trawler, 45 foot 1978 whitcraft

I killed many a dinghy in my youth beating the rivets out as I flew through the air in my 9.9 he evinrude powered duranautic. Gamefisher , viking,

Graduated to 15.5 foot sidewinder with a 135

Restored 21 foot penyan
31 foot 1961 trojan wood gorgeous
27 foot 84 bqyliner sunbridge
1996 to 2017 I have been a land lubber

29 foot silverton sport cruiser

3607 carver aft cabin 1983
Cruised from islip ny to norfolk va atlantic even tried 6 foot seas out ... most unpleasant lol

Now the work begins

Port holes all need replace . Bottom sand blasted blisters addressed sealed and painted. Bilge pumps cracked water tank, mystery smell identified and addressed depth finder and transducer replaced. Bimini replaced.

Ouch my wallet is killing me.

Ok I guess this is an short introduction. Lol

Welcome aboard!!

I'm curious on the "bilge pump below water tanks". I had a 3607 too. Are you referring to the water tanks under the aft berth? Where was the pump under there? Mine didn't have a bilge pump in the aft section, but I had thought of putting one in there several times. I probably would have put it back by the rudder posts, as that was the only accessible place but it wouldn't have been the lowest part of that bilge. Would have been fine while up on plane though.
