Howdy, Happy to find this forum! Recently purchased a1983 3207 Carver Aft in great shape, 350 Crusaders, Marine Inspection went well.
Docked in Tower Marine, Douglas Michigan, on beautiful Lake Michigan. Had boats all my life, 14 ft Lone Star 45 Merc,
1952 Chris Craft 17ft Runabout Special, gave to my daughter who fully restored it and now in Gig Harbor Washington, 1961 Harris Float Boat 45 Evinrude? , 1980's 21ft Starcraft Chieftan Mercruiser io, 2006 26ft Sanpan pontoon, 90 hp Honda.
Now onto bigger and better as many of us!
Did a great deal of scuba diving in the Great Lakes, Tobermorey,CN, Cozumel Mexico, Florida Keys, Caymen Isles, Roatan, Philippines. PADI instructor.
Curious about finding label plates for the bridge switches and if anyone has replaced the 12volt lighting with LED fixtures.
Also an issue with my forward bilge pump.
Thanks
Jeff

I believe most marine stores carry name plates.
LED’s...if the fixtures are in decent shape, almost positive you can replace the current bulbs with LED equivalents. Will save you a bunch of money. I replaced my halogens, pkg of 10 for less than $15.
Describe the issues you are having with bilge pump.

Thanks... bulbs are the old incandescent kind like auto bulbs.
Bilge pump runs constantly if put on automatic. Also functions on manual mode. Not sure if it is a defective pump or bad wiring. previous owner did not address..

You can take the old o-rings or one of the caps into a good hardware store and match them up with new ones.
I replaced all my interior incandescent light bulbs with LEDs. You can find them pretty cheap online. Mine was also an 83. On the bulbs, you just need to make sure you get the right base. They are bayonet base (or mine were) but the pins are not staggered like some auto bulbs. Also, you might have to swap the wiring on the back of the fixture if the polarity isn't correct. That didn't matter with the incandescents, but might with the LEDs.

Just pull one of your bulbs to see what kind of base it has. 99% chance there is an LED equivalent for it. I bought mine from Amazon, but there are companies that specialize in LED’s. Check superbrightleds.com or marinebeam.com as well as others.
I didn’t have to switch wiring on mine..didn’t even think about it. Just plugged them in and turned them on.

If your bilge pump runs all the time when on auto, probable culprit is a float switch stuck in the on position. Do you have a float switch that is separate from the pump or part of it.

Welcome aboard!
If the pumps always run in automatic, it must be the float switch, or the auto/manual selector switch.

Welcome Aboard. I have a smaller version of your boat an 81 3007 Aft Cabin model. Lots of room for the size. Good luck with yours.
