Hello All,
New owner of a 1988 Carver 42. The interior woodwork needs some brightening up. My thoughts are
Clean with Murphy Oil Soap
Use Touch of Beeswax product afterwards.
If this does not produce satisfactory results, what should I use. I thinking Minwax Polywipe satin finish will be the easiest approach. Appreciate any feedback from anyone who has freshened their tired interior. woodwork.

I am away from my files but IIRC the Carver Manual actually lists the actual product they used on the brightwork. I think it was a minwax product.... sorry I can't be more specific.

I had a 4207. I used teak oil.
Welcome aboard!

For many years Carver used Mohawk pour and wipe for the wood finish. It is still readily available.

The manual I glanced at on a 4207 said the interior was done in Minwax Antique Finish. I know this response is a little late, but hope it helps.
