Have an 87 Carver Riviera on Lake Ozarks since it was new. Lake Shore Marina has done all wrenching on this boat but they are about 2 years behind in service calls. Does anyone know any other Marina/mechanics certified to work on twin engine Carvers (Chrysler 318 's) at Lake of the Ozarks??

Can't help directly with your question, but I'm just curious... were those 318's original to the boat, or was that a repower? All the Carvers I've seen in the 80's were Crusader-powered.

Ya Mopars in a Carver of that vintage is a new one for me too. Are you sure they're Chrysler 318's and not Crusaders? They're both blue!

My 1988 had mercruisers.

And just to clarify, there is no "certification" to work on carvers or any other boat or engine manufacturer, unless you have a warranty.
Ask around for recommendations from others at your marina.

What is it you're looking to get assessed/repaired?
