Thanks for the welcome one and all...very much appreciated.
Need some help.
'96 325
Crown head suddenly seized. Held the button too long to see if it would respond and the circuit quit.
Breaker labelled macerator has no wiring. OBviously wired to another breaker.
No power for new install. No fuse to be found. Everything else working.
Any solution other than a new wire run from the vacant breaker.
Thoughts appreciated
Eddie

A "Macerator" breaker is usually for the overboard discharge not the head. Do you not have a separate "Head" or "Toilet" breaker? If not, look for an inline fuse. Hopefully someone with the same model will chime in.

Hi...Many thanks for the response
The "head" circuit, according to the Carver manual is the macerator breaker. Strangely, the breaker is vacant.
Obviously, the head was wired into another circuit. on checking the input switch, it is wired towards the ceiling. The red and black from the original discharge are wired thru the bilge.
Think I have located the hot going to the original head. couple of times has shown 12 on the meter...then another try, shows on 4-5. Last try came up negative. Should've checked closer when disengaging the original head I guess.
Best option njow is to wire into the "macerator" breaker and fish the line to the switch and new head.
Not impressed with Raritan's effort at the Era head. Cheap hose connection to toilet ,, no wiring diagram.
Confusing wire choicce diagram for newbies like myself.

If you still have the option available to return for exchange....get the Marine Elegance model. My advice would be to rewire all new, switches, breakers etc.
