I used to own a 1974 F44 Trojan MotorYacht but had a Brain Tumor Jan 2011 removed and had to sell her.

Last year we bought a 79' Carver 28 Mariner that we have almost finished restoring. It was stuck in 1979, BAD! Now it's updated and cleaned and fixed up.

We presently have it for sale to try to move up to a Carver 3207 Aft Cabin.
I'm Jason

Welcome to the forum Jason! and Thankfully you have recovered!!!! I have always loved the Trojan 44 Flush Deck. That boat has an elegance to it that you don't find any more.

Thanks for the welcome! Yea, the brain tumor was a speed bump but I'm all good now and moving onward and upward.
Last weekend I bought a 85' Carver 3207 in really nice shape at auction for half price. I'm slowly cleaning it up and making sure everything is in spec. I know so far I have to rebuild both Carbs and replace all 4 wet exhaust pipes. The pipes are dry and brittle.
But here she is. Her name is "Happy Ours" , we are keeping the name.
I've already replaced the back port port hole lens. It came with a new one.

Where is this?
And I've never seen side curtains on floating docks before!

Lake Lanier, GA. Those curtains SUCK!!!!! They have tires under them and make it very dangerous to get off your boat onto.
They are changing them out but it's a slow process. The Dock is 50 years old. I've been told it's the largest Land Locked Marina in the US besides one other up North somewhere.
Holiday Marina.
Edit: Also this is the Gas Dock. They are letting my boat sit there until I get the Carburetors back on it.

Got the 32' running great. Still fixing this that and the other but over all looks and runs great. Such a buy. I love this boat.
Still have the 28' Carver mariner for sale, hopefully it will sell soon. I hate having two slips to pay for but that's par for the course.
Lovin' me some Carvers
