Welcome aboard Brendan. Hopefully someone with the same model/year will chime in.

Welcome to the neighborhood. If you know the capacity of your tank, that could be helpful. Publish that so others will know. Chances are a number of other models used the same tank in the same year, as hull molds were used for several models. 8-) er

As Cooler says, other models used the same tank, so that might expand your queries and that might extend to different years. From the Powerboat Guide, the 85-87 Carver 2657 Montego is described as "Based on the earlier 2687 Monterey (1980–84) and sharing nearly identical specifications and a similar profile". That doesn't mean the water tanks would be the exact same, but they might be.

And if you're needing to replace it, don't assume you have to replace it with the exact same thing. I replaced some waste tanks with slightly smaller version (really, inconsequentially smaller) at less then HALF the price of what exact replacements would have been.

The specifications it gives on the 80-84 2687 Monterey are:
Specifications
Length................................ 25'8"
Beam.................................... 8'0"
Draft................................... 2'10"
Weight............................. 5,300#
Fuel, I/O .......................100 gals.
Fuel, Inboard................114 gals.
Water .............................40 gals.
Clearance ............................. 8'9"
Hull Type ...................Modified-V
Deadrise Aft ..........................16°
