Hi, we are new to the forum and new boat owners. We purchased a 1984 Carver 3207 about a month ago from a family that had it as a family boat since they bought it. It was well cared for but we are looking forward to updating it and making it ours. There are definitely some things that need to be repair (port windows) and we are looking forward to learning our boat and learning from the group!

Welcome aboard! I have a friend who's had a 3207 for a LONG time. It's the perfect size for his family, with two kids. Even now as the kids are getting older and taller, there's still plenty of room and it's nice they each have their own bunk.
Those are great boats and a popular model!
What waters will you be boating in?

]Thanks! We are super excited (and a bit overwhelmed with it all)! We also have two kids (daughters) who are 11 - so we hope it works out well! We are in Virginia Beach and the boat is morring at Morningstar Marina in Norfolk VA.

Welcome Aboard and good luck with your Carver. I previously owned the smaller version a 3007 Aft Cabin. Lots more room in a 3207. I hope you have many fine adventures aboard your Carver.
