Hello folks. Just made a deal on an 84 3607 here in Baltimore. Already have greatly benefited from info on the forum. Thanks to all. I am transitioning from a brand new Ranger Tug that I sold to not have a payment into retirement. New boat will mainly sit at dock. I am at Hendersons Wharf in Fells Point for anyone local. Will be lots of projects, but mainly sunsets! She will be SuperByrd, Mark II.

Be well! Phil

Welcome aboard!! I used to have a 3607 and there are several folks on here that still have them. Great boats!!

If you've been around the Fells Point area for a while, do you remember the Thames Tavern? I hung out there a while ago while working projects in the area. It's been long gone, but was great while it lasted.

Post up some pics when you get a chance!

Surprised to see the larger portholes in the aft cabin in an 84! I thought that didn't start till 86 or 87!! The earlier ones had three smaller ones on the port side, one in the head and two in the cabin.

Glad to have those bigger portholes, but all but one of the inside lenses needs replacement. At least you can still find them, and U Tube provides great instruction!

If they're not REALLY bad, they might clean up pretty good with some of the 3-step processes! Mine did and they were over 12 years old when I started. All but two cleaned up to almost like-new condition, whereas when I started you could hardly see out of them. Two were cracked or severely degraded and I ended up replacing those.

Most of mine are also cracked / broker at the latches, etc. May be able to save a couple, like bringing back headlights!
Boat is actually a 1985 model year, built in late 1984, although sold to me as a 1984.
