Best drain "clearer" I ever found is a length of stiff nylon tubing 1/4" OD. Just push it in and the debris is pushed out. No damage if reasonably gentle.

Hi, yes I tried all of the above before I posted. Problem is I'm not sure where the drain inlet is located. The water runs off the deck and along the walls of the transom. It appears I have to unscrew the decking to reach it. Any other ideas are welcome. Thanks, Newt

The drain line is located right where the center hatch opens, a large seacock is there where it exits through the hull. Is that seacock open? If not, nothing is going to drain.
