Hello, we just bought a 1995 330 Mariner and are going to spend the next 6 months updating a few things before we move aboard this fall. She’s in pretty good condition but needs a little lovin. I’m sure we’ll be perusing a lot of posts and probably posting a few new ones as we dig in. Thanks in advance for the knowledge and wisdom!

Cheers, Ben and Rosie

Welcome aboard. I had that exact Carver for 7 years. Just sold it last October, but still have access to it for a short time. Loved the boat, extremely functional as a cruiser or condo. One thing you may not realize, is the hull above the waterline to the rub rail, is cored with Permacore, no wood. The top deck is balsa core, as well as the swim platform. Permacore is a plastic material, so no water absorbsion. The only real challenge to the boat is replacement of the AC/Heat unit. At that age, it might be making a lot of noise, if it is running at all. Good luck. 8-) er
