New owner here

Just finished up the purchase of a 1999 406 Aft Cabin. Going to get it hauled out on Monday to get bottom paint and send the props to get balanced. Have a list of a few things to get done but nothing major. Pretty clean boat for 26 years old. Lots of great information on this site. Glad I got the Carver!

Welcome and Congratulations on your new to you 406. We have a 405 and have really love her. I've had mine around 13 years now. Hopefully can help answer any questions you might have.

Welcome! Make sure you determine what formula bottom paint is there now. Formulas need to be compatible to stay on and perform to expectations. Great idea to do maintenance on props. Hope you have a qualified prop resource to do that. They are far and few between in our area. Have a great season!

A belated welcome! I have a 99 406 with many projects under my belt. She is a great boat. Best of luck.
