2000 Carver 506

My wife and I are considering downsizing our "dream boat", our 2000 506.
She is powered by Volvo Tamd74EDC mains that just broke 700hrs, I have owned her since 170 hrs. She was commissioned in 2001 and her home port was Toronto, and her original owner took her down to Florida to live and then back to Toronto in 2004 due to health reasons. She sat dormant from 2008 to 2014 as her owner died of a brain tumor and the estate used her as a floating cottage.
The genset currently has 1600hrs. Oil changed every 100 hours.
She is serviced every year by Volvo. Impellers changed every 2 years. Last year full coolant flush and 6 new cranking batteries. She will have a full letter of service from Volvo attesting to her service. Fresh bottom paint every year.
Some of the upgrades I have done:
Underwater lights (4) on a remote
Ultra Anchor (2K)
LED courtesy lights in rear boarding stairs
Back salon storage cabinet + AC unit removed to open back deck (still have AC unit in storage, fully functioning)
New upper salon/bridge carpeting (2015)
New upper salon furniture (2016)
New bridge icemaker (2017)
New center window wiper motor (2019)
New sunroof motor (2019)
Samsung 18.4" tablet with Navionics mounted on bridge (2019)
New 32" LCD in salon (2018)
New convection oven in galley (2019)
Rebuilt fridge/freezer (2018)
Front stateroom ac rebuilt (2018)
Starboard head vacuflush unit rebuilt (2018)
Master stateroom sanitation hoses replaced (2017)
6 new cranking batteries (2018)
New upgraded capacity hot water tank (2018)
New dinghy davits (H20 style) (2019)
New Great Lakes Inflatable Aluminum RIB with 9.9 Johnson 4 stroke (2019)
I will be on holidays for the month of August onboard, and I will be listing her mid September. She will be listed for $235,000USD. If anyone is looking for a well maintained and loaded 506 and would like to save some cash by eliminating the broker, I would be open to offers. She is on Georgian Bay, so easily relocated anywhere in the Great Lakes or the Eastern US.[image][/image]
