Looking to buy on the Chesapeake Bay

Hey everyone.
First time boat buyer here - looking for something to live on a few days a week.
I like the Carver Mariner 32 with a dedicated shower stall - open to other options too. Ideally would like little to no engine work, but happy to do any TLC on the inside. Looking to move pretty fast

Something under $25k I can pay lump sum!

I have a 1986 3207 with 355 hours on the motors. Going up for sale soon I just physically can't tend to it any more. Boat is very solid

I recently (last fall) sold my 1982 3607 Aft Cabin in New Bern, NC to a never-before boat owner for this very reason. Last month, he called me to see if I'd buy it back at his loss because personal circumstances have dramatically changed for him. Its a do nothing - move aboard ready boat with all running gear, equipment, etc. in full operating conditions (except generator needs something to make it hold idle better). He is definitely in the sub-$20k range and though he can't really speak to the boat conditions (he's been on it a total of 3 times) I'd be glad to help as its last owner to a fellow forum member!

The OP only posted the one time, back on Mar. 1. Something tells me we won't be hearing from him.

Hi Brandon,
Have you found your boat yet? I have a '99 326 Aft Cabin on the Upper Chesapeake that I'm selling. I loved it but just recently bought a larger Mariner.
Regards,
Chuck.

Shame people do this kind of thing, waste peoples time that offer help and/or responses etc never to be heard from again.
