Would like to hear what others have had good success with. I have tried quite a few over the years. The last 2 year stint was with Odorlos which I must say worked quite well. I ran out and decided to try the hyped "Noflex Digester". Tried it for the first time this weekend but obviously that is really not enough time to see if it works well.

Lets hear what you have been using and how well it has worked for you. The Odorlos worked 95% of the time, once in a while there would be the standard foul smell when one flushes indicating a non working situation otherwise it has done well.

I use noflex for the past 5 years it will do what it says but it's not a overnight miracle. I think it works. You will see a difference in how the waste in the tank is. Also my sensor probes have worked with no issues since I started with it. Also be curious what others say on the various products out there.

That is what made me want to try it, it's breakdown and cleaning ability that I have read about. Thanks for confirming it does seem to do what others say.

We have been using Happy Camper & its cleaner for 2 seasons and no Issues. Our tanks cleaned up and our sensors are working again with out having to remove them and clean them. Cost about $20-$25 a container and last a season. Let us not forget we are part of the problem here by not using enough water when we flush. The VacUFlush manual states to count to 5 or 6 every time you flush. Dilution is a part of the solution. Happy Flushing All!

I used Noflex for a few years. It worked very well however it is a harsh chemical product so I decided to go the biological route and try Aqua-Tek's Super Enzo. I like the idea of bacteria and enzymes to do the dirty work rather than harsh chemicals. What ever we pump out ends up in our water shed so I'm trying to do my part to minimize the impact on the environment where I can. It's not an overnight cure to all your tank problems, much like Noflex, it takes several uses to get the system primed to a point where it can be easily maintained. So far so good when used as directed.

I know you cannot believe everything that is written however this is what they say regarding Noflex aftermath. Sure does sound like a good thing but then again that is what marketing is supposed to do right?

The spent residue from the reaction is sodium carbonate (baking soda) which helps buffer the solution for discharge to waste treatment facilities

I realize sewage is sewage but it builds up with time in the tank/hoses and permeates the hoses which I am trying to avoid in the long run by using the best available product on the market. Problem is, what is the best? Toilet tissue and animal fat and poo need to be washed out of the system and to do so most effectively it needs to break down. Adding nothing will not allow anything to break down substantially and will lead to problems sooner than later as opposed to adding a good product.

Not sure but I do believe most Carver boats came with charcoal filters, I know mine did.

I know my 405 did not come with any vent filters from carver. I did however make my own charcoal filters.
