Boat show

Hey gang! Took the day off and heading to the Toronto Boat Show. Looking for all KINDS of stuff, aas you can figure. Want to replace our chart plotter, guages , looks like with the help of Hans, found our new steering wheel. And looking for an Oceanair cover for our front berth bow hatch. Wish us luck!! Hope to see you guys there!!!!

Hope you find what you need. Enjoy the show. A few pics of some outstanding stuff is always appreciated.

I'll be at the TO boat show tomorrow as well. Also looking at upgrading my chartplotter, fingers crossed their will be some good deals, leaning towards Garmin.

I am also however since you are going to a show I doubt any of the venders will speak bad about the product. Not sure and wonder if this is not like so many of the snake oils that have been presented in the past using high tech names like nano technology or similar. Keep us posted.

Check out Radio World online before you go, they have some Garmin on and they all compete at the show.

Take a look at the Garmin GPSMap 1242xsv. Its a winner.

Just wrapped my annual visit to the boat show. Got some great deals on lines and a BBQ however didn’t pull the trigger on a chart plotter. I have my heart set on a 12” Garmin however the only deals at the show were on 9”. I could have bought 3-9” units for the price of a 12” which crossed my mind but I still think I’d be disappointed having to squint at a 9” display.

If you have the room put in both. Comes in handy running dual screens for many reasons. I put in a 12" and a 7" if memory serves me right.

Boat show, my brain hurts!!!!!!! So, Got a Big Orange again for this boat, a new TV antenna (glomex dome), and pulled the trigger on the Garmin 1242 XSV touch. Now, I'm broke.
