I had my 1994 390 CPMY shrink wrapped AGAIN this year. The marina will not let anyone in to wrap. But themselves, So I had to grin and bear it to the tune of $1475.00! (OUCH!) I am on Cape Cod so we get SOME snow, sometimes a decent amount, but mostly none. I was thinking of a. Winter flybridge cover to protect the bridge from the elements. Then I would remove the rear enclosure side curtains and let it stay exposed, as the carpeting is also removable. Anyone use a winter cover or had a lead on where to get one or is it custom? Any ideas of cost? I am sure it will be far less Thant th amount I have spent over the past 4 years!

Wow, that's a lotta dough!! If it cost that much to shink my boat I'd be opting to store in heated storage. It would still be more, but then I'd have the option of working on the boat over a couple weekends in the "off season"!!

There is a guy on here that makes full canvas covers for boats, and I'd bet he could put together anything you'd like.... he may already have dimensions as you have a popular boat.

Inside storage is $3400.00 and NO work by owner allowed PERIOD. I hope the gut you mentioned sees this post.

Go to a custom Canvas maker, I'm sure they cold make you one. You could also purchase a custom full boat cover!

I'm a believer in inside storage, but if outside, a full cover. As water gets on the boat. Freezes, thaws, freezes, thaws, and on and on, things like stanchion bolts get loose and start leaking year round. Same with window triim, etc.

I had flybridge only sunbrella cover on my 2001 406 made 11 years ago and have not looked back. Never any seepage or leaking fittings. Just covers full bridge down over aft sink/ doorway with zipper, using 3 tension poles & snaps from the full enclosure, which I remove it & aft full enclosure panels each fall. Now 19 years on them, though 6 isinglass panes have been cut out and new isinglass sewed in (UV clouding). Leave forward & aft deck open, just polish & heavy wax at beginning & end of season, open, on land storage. No crackIng or spider webbing, etc. These boats are tougher than people think.
