Don’t know about all Carvers, but the Santego 3867 has a keel.

The 3607 has a keel. Mine was an 83, made is late 82. The last 2' of the keel was hollow, as if an afterthought and had to be extended after some sea trials. I always wondered if the later ones were the same or if they had used the same structural configuration on the rest of it and extended it to the full length

The smaller Montego's, Santego's, don't have a keel. I didn't know the bigger ones did?
I don't believe any of the mariners have keels.
I do believe all of the aft cabins and voyagers have keels at least 33' and above.

You are correct on the smaller Santego’s- no keel. The only Santego’s to have a keel were the 3867/640 which were no longer produced after 91 or maybe 92.

I have just noticed that most Carver I have seen don't have a keel. My Voyager does, but not a full keel
