Dog Safety

We just purchased a Carver 4207 to cruise and live aboard. We have a couple of dogs and want to protect them by installing netting around the deck to keep them from going "swimming". Are there different levels of quality of netting available and where is the best place to purchase it?

This netting...is it going about the fiberglass "weatherboards"? Between the hardtop and the teak atop the fiberglass portion? What size of dogs are they?

Welcome!
I have no idea on the netting, but I am guessing walking the docks over there and asking WAFI people what they use on their blobaots as safety netting would give you some clues.
Just curious - is the upper bridge hardtop version boat that Brian Denehy once owned?

That's something I just thought about. We got a small pup over the winter and hadn't given that any thought.

So yea, where could one buy some netting to go around the bow rail and back to the aft deck.
I've got a 3607 with just a wire from the aft deck to about 10' from the bow

There's a place in Two Rivers Wisconsin - Carron Net. They custome make netting. We've used them for safety netting under our conveyor system.
may be cheaper to buy some premade sailboat railing netting. I don't know.
