Those pics remind me,.... I miss the shoulder seasons on the boat, where you can go down, put the heat on and spend some quality time puttering around....... ...... :beergood:
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Congrats Benda! It has been a long wait for you. You can now start your social distanced self-orientation with the various systems. Looks like you have a nice view to the open lake from your slip. Wish I was there so I could enjoy that new boat smell, nice combination of fiberglass and leather. At least you can fantasize about all your neighbors oooing & ahhing about the newest vessel in the marina. We even have some nice weather approaching in the very near future. 8-) er

The current shelter at home order expires April 30th at 11:59 PM. My gut says there will be some sort of extension. Hopefully the boating ban will be removed in any extension. Fingers crossed.

Well its raining today so time for reflection, ..... the groundhogs were correct in their early spring regarding the ice out which was a few weeks early.... that would have enabled the spring launch to start early........but....the virus...looks like the middle of May now at the earliest....the curve is really flattening now which is very good news.

Since the ice out we really have not had any nice weather where we are, it has been cold, windy and rainy. There has been only a few days where the temps have been close to seasonal norms and we have had some flooding with the very high water levels.

Really had we launched, with the weather etc , my guess is we would not have left the slip anyway....

On a positive note we have a new family member..... a black lab puppy.... :-D ... is now the new boat dog who has already assisted me in taking the old dinghy cradle apart... .., we have been waiting for her for the last few years, but family issues kept putting it off. Got to get some sort of life jacket and safety netting for the front deck walkways, then she can learn how to run the windlass.... :-D

So we were on line at the grocery store the other day and this kid pulls up and comes up to the door and cuts in front of this older lady with a cane....well she tells him he will have to wait and threatens him with her cane.....at this point the kid backs off and goes back to the car but returns quickly, at which point the old lady yells at him and clobbers him with the cane to much applause from the line, he retreats to the car again for a while then comes back and stands a safe distance from her and says , " listen lady , if you don't let me unlock the door , none of you will get in. "

Sorry Rick.....stay safe people...
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
