So darn near the end of September 2023.....who is thinking about winterizing their boat ? Of course this only applies to the northern folk I guess. Seems quiet this year as we only have one thread about oil....
Projects for the coming lay up period.......

Next weekend is probably my last for this season. Have gathered up all my filters and oil to change those and will do pink stuff after haul out.

Yep, we are almost on the wrong end of boating season. Good thing is my liver will get a well deserved rest. I don't winterize as I store in warm storage. I know it is smart to winterize anyway, but the private owner has the building set up with cameras and warning system for temp drops, and the building is insulated so well that there could be no unexpected surprises. Building temp is held at 50 all winter, then increased to 60 in mid March for spring projects. We also have full access to the building all winter long. We really did have a perfect season here! 8-) er

Last weekend for us. Haul out on Monday morning. Oil changes all done, Pinky stuff after haul out. Air pressure only for the water lines and hot water tank. We have a kitchen designer coming on Friday to see what can do to modify the galley. Love this vessel, wife can't stand the unpracticality of the galley.
Removed all canvas and prepared for haul out this morning. Kitchen design came, took measurements, we shall see.

Ours came out on the 10th. We purchased this year, the yard we are at has been taking care of the boat for about 4 seasons now. It is a bit odd to be in "write a check" mode. We have an airplane that we do owner assisted maintenance on, not being involved in the work feels odd. Would rather have her in the water, but impressed by the size on land!

Dropped my Stingray off at the dealership on Saturday afternoon go get her winterized and shrinkwrapped. Looking forward to the 2024 boating season. I hope to hit the water about April 1st or thereabouts.

Funny - one oil thread! :-) Here in Arkansas we can go with a few Boat Safe heaters. The Govee app and sensors help me monitor the temps.

All three Bilge heaters are on auto, ok I am done. We love living in the south. We will boat year-round again and have for the last two decades.
