I am looking for a set of gears for the stern thruster (QL Volvo SP 1300). If anyone has a set please email me esappenfield@att.net

If you're talking about the gear leg, I got one off Volvo last year after a bit of a wait. They brought one in from a dealer overseas as they had none in North America. Try contacting a Volvo dealer or Volvo directly.

You might find the QL series hard to get drive parts for. The pricing and availability seems nuts. A buddy got an outrageous price on parts for his bow thruster - plus the delivery time was estimated almost 60 days. He ended up using a local machine shop to fabricate a copy. Have you considered local fabrication?

Keep an eye on eBay, parts pop up once in a while, and do a Google search, I'm sure you'll get a few hits. This may come in handy along the way:
