Carver Mariner propeller shaft diamater

Carver Mariner propeller shaft diamater? I'm looking to pick up a propeller puller incase I need to remove my props. I'm not sure the the diamater of the prop shaft. Any one know what it is?

Go to the Carver Yachts.com website and look under the owners drop down,there you will find parts manuals etc.....pick thru and choose your model and year....its all there....lots of info...hope this helps... :beergood:

thanks for the help. I looked it up and It's 1.5"

What propeller puller do you use? What the best?

The one that looks like a C-Clamp is the best, and I think one size fits them all. You are going to need a torch with map gas to apply some heat or they will never come off. Did you finally buy a 350 Mariner or are you still fishing? Mike

I'm still fishing. I've got one in my sights though. Making the move next spring.

I'm a diver and have removed damaged props and installed fixed ones underwater for people. I've had to tap them off. A puller would be nice.

You'd do better to try and buy one now, those looking to get out of boating are dealing in the fall more so than in the spring.

Prop pullers are limited to shaft size so get one that will accomodate the range you'll be dealing with. Any shaft above that range will require a larger puller.
