Best way to pull port engine on a 1993 voyager 370

Greetings all, I am new to the forum. Last year I rebuilt the starboard engine and it was easy enough as I only had to remove the galley flooring BUT we did have to almost fully pull the engine apart before we lifted it up an out. The starboard engin is under the dinette and I am wondering if I can lift the whole engine out without dismantling it. Has anyone had experience doing this on the year and model?

Welcome aboard. I haven't done one on your model but in some other brands with a similar layout, the area is actually designed to come apart or have a large hatch that's screwed down. These are usually hidden under the carpeting. Hopefully someone here has gone through it on this model. Keep us posted.

Many thanks for the quick reply!- part of the issue is that once the engine is lifted out there is a fairly narrow space between the galley and the dinette and I am thinking if i have to dismantle the entire port side dinette assembly which includes the electric panel and water heater.

It's to bad that boats are not designed for easy access to engines and other components when they do need to be worked on. This past winter my port side transmission had to be rebuilt. Glad that I was not the one who had to do the job. In order to get to the transmission the whole engine/transmission assembly had to be pulled.
The job is done and the rebuilt transmission is working well. Good luck with your project.
