Have an opportunity to purchase a 2001 466 with 800 hours on each engine. Looking for suggestions on offer price. This is my first purchase.

I have no idea but if you out an offer in, make sure you get a survey.
The survey will also provide a value of the vessel

Kelly Blue Book and NADA will give a value range if you know all the amenities!

Good luck, that is one heck of a first boat if that is what you mean by first purchase.

Also close to closing on a 2001 466 but have some concerns with hull thickness. Has anyone experianced any noteworthy issues? My survey revealed a crack deep into the glass by the port forward jack stand plate, outlining the plate??

Welcome to the forum.
What did your surveyor say about this ? I think I might look into how they got such a load on that stand enough to do damage to the hull, the side stands are only to balance the boat.....have a good look elsewhere to see if there is any other damage from the improper blocking.
In reality, all fibreglass can be repaired, within reason. How do you know how deep the crack is ?
