I recently bought my first carver a 270 santego flybridge.
I bought it at the end of the season, after a watertest I had to winterize and store it.
The guy I bought it from bought it on a spur of the moment didnt know nothing about it and used it twice.
The holding tank for the toilet waste is under the toilet?
I was told there is another holding tank..to transfer for pumpout?.
Also for my water onboard is there a switch like the one in my bayliner somewhere I could not find it?.
Thank you for any info or where to find info on my boat.

I answered your other post:
Sounds like you have a Raritan Crown toilet. The tank on the base is for adding liquid holding tank treatment solution. The actual waste tank will be elsewhere. This is the unit I'm talking about:

Here's where you get a good flashlight. Open every hatch you see, stick your head in and try to identify everything you see. Follow all hoses from end to end. Find all thru hulls, sump pumps, fresh water pump and bilge pumps. Once you do that, you will know where your holding tank is. There will most likely be an underwater discharge for it, which is illegal to use.
As viper said, most likely, you have a water pressure pump breaker on your breaker panel.
By the way, Carver is real good at putting small hatches in very out of the way places that you have to search for. My last Carver, had a very small hatch underneath the steps going down to the galley. That's where my pressure water pump was located and was a lot of fun to replace when it died.

I did not see a fuse or switch for the water tank I was thinking about hooking a line direct to the sinks so I could have good water pressure from shore.we usually drink/cook with bottled water anyway
Yes that is the type of toilet but older.
Is there a pump to transfer the waste to the holding tank?I appreciate the info this will be our 3rd season on the water and wish we had done it sooner.
Boaters are awesome people and pretty much all the folks we met at our marina and at others on trips were more than happy to help out and show us the ins n outs,do's n don'ts...
Thanks

The pump is at the base of the toilet, it drains the bowl and pumps the waste into the waste tank at the same time.

You might want to buy a complete rebuild kit for it which includes an updated grinder section.
I took mine out and rebuilt it. Easy job, got to repaint everything white, and it works like a charm, and quieter now than when it didn't work so well.

Thanks guys
So I would guess that the pump is engaged by the footswitch on the base of the toilet.
The grinder?

The grinder is part of the pump itself.
