Anode in Water heater

Hi have a 430 1995. Wonder if my water heater has an anode, and if so where is it located in the heater.
The water lines and electrical connections are on the same side, facing the bow of the boat. Thank you.

I don't think they have anodes. Find your make and model number to check for certain.

If you can see a drain valve on your water heater you probably don't have one. The anode would screw in and replace the drain valve.

+ 1 on g36. The Typical brands; Whale, Seaward, Kuuma, etc. are installed in place of the drain valve. I see a part number 74556 for the Seawards. Some higher end units have them as well but on the Raritan for example, it's part of the male hot water outlet fitting. You remove the fitting and the anode is part of it on the inside.
