Carver Mariner 36

The are looking at a 2005 Mariner 36 this week. It has the twin Yanmars. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of this boat? Thanks.
I own a 2005 36 Mariner and am very happy with the vessel. My family and friends love it.
It is a very well thought out design albeit 'form over function'. Looks unlike anything else on the water but boy does she have plenty of advantages over a similar size express cruiser.
The things that I like about this boat: You can walk to the bow of the boat without doing a balancing act on the deck. The centerline berth with private entrance to head. The size of the head and separate shower is great. The salon is very roomy for a 36 footer. I like the command bridge (not a fly bridge) and the amount of seating top side. The forward seating topside is a big hit with everyone. The hatch above the stove is great for passing up goodies and drinks. The high free board aft will be safe for future grand kiddies. You have access to the forward engine compartment via salon steps with full access from the aft deck.
What I don't like about the design is that she 'lists' forward a couple of degrees. (perhaps due to 150 feet of 5/16 the chain) This enables a pool of water to accumulate in the 'ladder well' on the swim platform. In the shower, the floor drain in the compartment is aft and the water accumulates forward. The salon table berth is a bit small and cannot accommodate a taller person. Advertising sleeping accommodation for five is a slight over statement. Four is more realistic.
It would be nice to have a fresh water wash down forward to utilize when weighing anchor. I am going to install something myself.
The only thing my boat is lacking are twin Yanmars!
