Welcome aboard!

You'll find very few parts actually built by Carver, or for that matter, any boat builder. The builder makes the hull, maybe some seating frames, some trim, but mechanical and electrical parts are for the most purchased.
Thanks
Fred

Fred is correct. There's a lot of generic hardware produced by dozens of manufacturers/suppliers. The good news is that in general, a simple email or phone call to Carver with your hull number is enough for them to give you part numbers and supplier contact information. What you may run into however is whether some of the suppliers are still around. There's usually other options though. Anything in particular you're looking for?

Hi, We have 1975 28' Carver 2865 Santa Cruz which would be similar to your boat. The engine is probably Waukesha. Ours are Ford 302's. Parts are fairly readily available. Some are a little pricey like thermostats. For ours if we went with a Barr thermostat it was $129 from Fisheries Supply but I think that I found the NAPA equivalent for about $41. Jim
